It was an absolutely torrential downpour, and these two couldn't have cared less. Steph and Adam were so excited for their Bell Island adventure, and so ready to make the best of the weather. We explored the island, got drenched, and had an absolute blast!
This wedding was featured on Styled in Lace back in the summer.

These two have just about the most beautiful love story - high school sweethearts reunited after years apart, other lives lived. It was such a beautiful thing to watch these two families join together, in a perfect forest grove outside of Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
I loved all of Allison's details so much!
PS - this golden glowing evening is what happens when you let your photographer choose what time of day you get married!! haha
These two planned their wedding based on when they could get the Bonavista Social Club. Needless to say, they are my kinda people. Sheena and Lee were so in love with Trinity that they knew this is where they wanted to be married - but like the adventurous souls that they are, they decided to make it the best day ever.
We had their first look in the streets of historic Trinity, then wandered around the old town. They were married by one of Sheena's best friends on a hill overlooking Trinity where they promised each other a life full of adventure, surrounded by a few close people, Lee's dad on the guitar, and a bottle of bubbly.
We made our way across the peninsula for dinner at the Bonavista Social Club, one of the most relaxed and incredible Intimate Wedding venues I have come across! We hung out on the deck, munching on their wood oven pizzas and checking out the incredible view, complete with icebergs.
These two had such a beautiful and relaxed day, full of cherished people and good vibes!
I was so excited when Capen and Will got in touch to see if I would be willing to travel to Fogo Island for their Elopement. In two days time. I can think of no better way to ring in the New Year than by wandering around one of the most magical places with two folks embarking on a host of incredible new adventures together! These two are also expecting a little babe in the new year, and will be travelling to Will's hometown in Australia for a big family wedding! But this was an intimate little ceremony on the rocks of Joe Batt's Arm for just the two of them to celebrate privately before they begin their family.
She sang songs. They wrote each other letters, and then said their vows over the wild ocean. There were shotguns. There was champagne and ginger ale. The sweetest, sweetest day with the loveliest folks.
PS - The folks at the Fogo Island Inn were SO amazing! So accommodating and full of lovely surprises for the couple. Would 100% recommend to anyone considering an elopement in Newfoundland!
The full editorial will be published in early November, but until then here are some sneak peeks from the Stormy Mountain Elopement that I put together back in September with a great team!
