It was such an absolute joy to meet these two (three) wonderful folks and have a wee adventure to celebrate the coming of their first babe!
These two are the best. We first met back in 2017 at Toni + Joey’s wedding, and did one of my fave ever engagement sessions later that year at their favourite campground. There were canoes and pastries and their amazing pup Hallie.
Their wedding was just as adventurous and amazing. These two are super creative and crafty folks, and they MADE pretty much everything for the wedding - from wood tie pins and evergreen sapling party favours to some of the actual most amazing cupcakes I have ever had.
They were married at Marble Mountain, one of my fave venues on the island, and then we all hopped into side by sides and went up the side of the mountain adventuring around. Such an amazing day with such an amazing crew of folks.
These two are just so much fun. I had such a blast wandering around downtown and Quidi Vidi with them, their beautiful bright Rocket Room ceremony and super fun EVOO reception. What great folks.
This day was so wild. Megan + Jonathan made their way to Gros Morne National Park from their home in PEI for their elopement and chose a beautiful meadow in Norris Point with a view of the Tablelands for their ceremony. The wind was absolutely WILD that day, but these two were totally up for the adventure. We went out wandering in a full arc of Bonne Bay, seeking out all the best mountain views, and wound up heading into the Tablelands at the end. What a day.
So I adore these people. And their Tibbs Eve wedding was the loveliest, most adorable thing. They had a completely gorgeous ceremony in snowy Bowring Park, then exploring around Quidi Vidi, then a little warm up in Mallard Cottage. Then these two decided to toss their plans and go for burritos. I was clearly all about it.
Had such a blast running around the woods with these two to the tune of Fleetwood Mac. Thank you and bless you for being game for taking a little dip at the end!!!
These sweet souls came all the way from Vancouver to elope on the East Coast in Cape Breton, where David’s family is from. They had family gather for their ceremony at Lousiberg lighthouse, and then we wandered our way back toward Sydney, which included finding this beautiful lil river surrounded by wild mint and a hidden waterfall that made me squeal a bunch.
These two awesome folks eloped at the Fogo Island Inn in November. It was SO WINDY the Fogo Island ferry shut down - but the folks at the Inn were awesome and set us up in “The Shed” for the ceremony and Megan and Brad were super adventurous about heading out into the wild winds anyways for some exploring! These two rule and everything about this day was so lovely.
These two are actually just the coolest. I had such a blast goofing off with them all day and hearing all of their amazing travel stories. I adore how much personality went into their wedding day. Days like this really prove that the best way to do this thing is to be yourselves.
